Birthday of Earth Store Bodhisattva

Cham Shan Temple will be holding celebrations this Sunday 5th Sept to mark the birthday of Earth Store Bodhisattva (Di Zang Pu Sa).

Earth Store Bodhisattva is known for his vow to take responsibility for the instruction of all beings in the six worlds between the death of Gautama (Sakyamuni) Buddha and the rise of Maitreya Buddha, as well as his vow not to achieve Buddhahood until all hells are emptied.

Ceremonies will start from 10am till 4:30pm. There will be Sutra chanting and dedication of merits to mark this special occasion.
